Hospital, Care Home & Hospice Visiting

When our clients are in hospital, a care home or hospice their volunteers can still be alongside. Our volunteers are able to visit people without friends or family close by or whose family members are busy at work during the week often feel lonely – especially seeing others with visitors. When a current client moves into a care home or is admitted to hospital or a hospice their volunteer can continue to support them as they settle in and help make the transition a little easier.

In a care home

Our volunteers are able to visit in care homes. Residents without friends or family close by or whose family members are busy at work during the week often feel lonely – especially seeing others with visitors. We welcome referrals from care homes.

Support in hospital or Hospice

When our clients are in hospital or Hospice or to have their medication balanced our volunteers are still alongside. We offer support at the bedside for anyone in the last few days of life when carers need to have a meal or go home briefly and would like their family member to have someone close by.
