Simon Brown joined us in January as the latest member of our Board of Trustees. He will be working alongside our team of six, all with different skills and areas of expertise, to safeguard and guide the Trust as we move forward. We’re so pleased to welcome him to The Brigitte Trust!
Simon is a senior Human Resources professional, with over 30 years’ experience of work across a range of private, public and charity sectors. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Studies and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD). For more than 14 years, Simon has run his own business in Change Management and Talent Development, coaching and mentoring individuals and teams. He has mentored several senior managers in the charity sector.
Simon enjoys volunteering and giving back to society. Having personally experienced the pain of bereavement many times without having had the benefit of counselling, he is very supportive of the fact that, in Surrey, The Brigitte Trust has a positive reputation for proactive bereavement counselling, helping and assisting people through this very significant and often difficult stage of life.
Originally from Nottingham, he has lived in Surrey since 1987. He is married with two grown-up children and one granddaughter.
