A little bit about us
The Brigitte Trust is a Surrey-based charity offering free emotional, practical, and social support to people facing the challenges of a life-limiting illness. Our core service, home or hospice visiting, carefully matches a client with one of our trained volunteers who’ll visit each week, building a relationship centred on the client and their individual needs. We also offer bereavement support to anyone in Surrey struggling with grief, neurological support for those living with conditions such as MND and MS, run Coffin Club Surrey each Autumn, and hold multiple Death Cafés throughout the year that anyone can join in with.
We believe that everyone has the right to live well beyond diagnosis and make the most of their time, no matter the outcome. More people are living longer with their diagnosis- our mission is to ensure that the people living with these conditions, as well as their families and carers, can make the most of the time they have. We aim to support as many people throughout Surrey as possible, improving quality of life with a life-limiting illness.
