Since 1984, we have been dedicated to supporting individuals and their families facing terminal conditions, enhancing quality of life through practical and emotional help. We believe that everyone has the right to live well beyond diagnosis and to make the most of their time, no matter the outcome.

In 2024, we partnered up with HelpFilm, a company that helps create videos for charities with the goal of raising awareness and supporting their mission. Together, we’ve created a short film to show you what it is that we do and the impact it has on the community!
Our services
We offer free support to adults living with a terminal illness in the Surrey area, facing the challenges of conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease and end-stage organ failure.
As well as our Home Support Service, we provide bereavement support across the county, free to anyone over 18 and struggling with grief.

Home visitingOur free home visiting service matches volunteer and client, with the volunteer visiting the same family member each week and building a relationship centred on the client and their individual needs.

Bereavement SupportVolunteer support to a client family extends beyond the funeral with visits for up to three months. We also run free Bereavement Support groups across the county, open to anyone in Surrey struggling with grief.

The Brigitte Trust Presents…The Brigitte Trust Presents… is a series of free workshops, both online and in person, covering various topics such as cancer treatments, Wills and legacies, palliative care, and more.
