Sarah has a background in investment banking, where she was vice president in emerging markets for Merrill Lynch. She was a Samaritan in her spare time, and decided to join us as a visiting volunteer in 2010. In 2012, Sarah took on the role as Service Co-ordinator and discovered parts of Surrey that she never knew existed! She has two adult children and three giant dogs, of which St Bernard “Winter” is a Pets as Therapy dog that visits our clients.
Mandy has worked in the charity sector since early 2000 where she has held a number of roles including campaigning, policy writing, lobbying and fundraising but her main focus has always been facilitating groups; delivering high quality training and managing volunteers. Joining the Brigitte Trust in 2017, Mandy looks after the dedicated team of volunteers and leads the training and workshop programmes to ensure the high standards the Brigitte Trust is known for. Mandy has two grown up children and a border terrier, and spends a lot of time walking and enjoying the outdoors.
Tanya has worked in the charity sector for over 18 years, supporting older people and promoting their independence in the East Surrey area. Part of her role was to develop more services in other parts of Surrey. Tanya loves to holiday in the USA, especially going on road trips through the States with her hubby. She also enjoys time with her family and her grandchildren.
Claire joined the us as a volunteer in 2017, and then as a member of staff in 2021. At the beginning of her career, she worked in marketing for a Multi-National Japanese Electronics Company. Since then, Claire has worked for 20 years in a small family run logistics company; specialising in the reverse logistics of warranty parts for a premium car manufacturer. In 2017, she decided on a complete career change and trained to become a Humanistic Counsellor. She lives in Surrey and has two grown-up daughters and a black Labradoodle called Teddy.
