The Brigitte Trust was founded in 1984 by Brigitte Watkin. Since then, we have continued to support individuals and families facing terminal illnesses through a range of services. Below is our story and the ongoing impact we have on the community of Surrey.
In 2023, we supported over 400 clients through our services. These ranged from bereavement and neurological support groups, to home and hospital visits.
Last year, we spent almost 6,000 hours supporting people across Surrey. From in-person support at home or in a hospice, to online groups- we’re there for families and their loved ones in their time of need.
Every penny you donate will help our cause, and make a difference to individuals and families living in Surrey and facing the challenges of a terminal illness.
Our team is made up of over 100 volunteers. We simply couldn’t do what we do without the incredible support and commitment of each and every one of them.
Thanks to our wonderful fundraisers and donors, a whopping £39,574 was raised in 2023! Our work would not be possible without the support of those who donate, take part in our annual events, or those who organise their own personal fundraisers.
