Bereavement Support
Grief is a natural process and each person follows their own path in their own time. Volunteer support to a client’s family extends beyond the funeral with visits for up to three months if requested, with time to remember a loved one together. Volunteers can also find ongoing help for their clients from specialist partner charities and local support groups, as well as help with practical issues like paperwork. Sitting quietly and listening can be the most helpful gift of all.
