When our clients are in a hospital, care home or hospice, their volunteers can still be alongside them for support. Our volunteers are able to visit people that are feeling lonely, without close friends or family or family members who are busy at work, during the week.
When a current client moves into a care home or is admitted to a hospital or hospice, their volunteer can continue to support them through hospice visiting as they settle in and can help make the transition a little easier.
Care home and hospice visiting can help residents without friends or family near by feel less lonely. Our volunteers are able to visit in care homes. We welcome referrals from care homes.
When our clients are in a hospital or hospice or go to have their medication balanced, our volunteers are still there alongside them. We offer support at the bedside for anyone in the last few days of life, when carers need to have a meal or go home briefly and would like their family member to have someone close by.
