We rely on donations to continue to provide our free services. There are many ways that your company can support us. Make us your Charity of the Year or host a fundraising event. Encourage your staff to volunteer with us or simply get in touch or visit our dedicated page to donate.

 

Charity of the Year

By choosing us as your charity of the year we can work together to build a bespoke calendar of engaging fundraising activities for your employees. We’d love you to nominate The Brigitte Trust as charity of the year to your charity champions, senior managers and HR team. If you’d like advice on how to do this, email our team and we can help.
 

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a great way for employees to make monthly donations to charity, straight from their salary, before tax is deducted. It’s easy for employers to set up and shows strong charitable support. Find out more about Payroll Giving.
 

Staff Fundraising

Fundraising together with your colleagues is another great way to support our cause. From sponsored treks, to organising an in-house bake-off, you choose the challenge and we’ll be there to support you with advice, fundraising ideas and promotional materials. Many larger companies offer match funding opportunities if their employees are fundraising for a registered charity (our UK charity number is 288923), so it’s always worth asking.

 

Sponsor an Event

Another option is for your company to sponsor an event. For example you could sponsor Coffin Club Surrey, a bereavement support group , a volunteer training course or a Death Café.
 

Gift in Kind

Supporting our work by donating products, services or professional advice is a fantastic way for us to keep our overhead costs down and enables us to spend more money directly on supporting people with life limiting illnesses. It’s also a great way for you to utilise your corporate assets and skills for the benefit of a great cause. e.g. printing, offering a meeting room, designing cards.
 

Corporate Volunteering

If any members of staff are interested in become a home visiting volunteer and have 3 hours available each week and they can attend our free training course. We’d love to hear from you.
 

Social Media

Follow us on social media, liking and sharing our posts all help in promoting us.

Depending on the degree of support offered, we can provide excellent branding and publicity for a sponsor in pre-event publicity, profile at the event itself, and post-event press reports and participant thank you letter communications, as well as mentions in all internet publicity via our website, Twitter, Facebook and other appropriate social media outlets.
